Revered as the “Queen of Effortless Chic”, Daisy was a style expert, TV personality and Author. Hailing from the fashion halls of iconic magazines including In Style, Glamour, and Essence, Daisy worked in the industry for fifteen years and was full of money-saving style tips and tricks showing women how to “Dress Like a Rich Girl on a Real Girl Budget.” Daisy loved to help women pull out their inner celebrity by performing drab to fab makeovers on shows including Wendy Williams, Meredith Viera, Today Show, and more. In a March 2015 interview with Bravo, Daisy opened up about her battle with cancer stating, “I have cancer – cancer doesn’t have me. Every day comes with its challenges, but that doesn’t stop me from celebrating what I have in my life.”
A year ago, in an interview with Today, she told the world she decided to open up about her health because she wanted to have a positive impact, “I wanted to turn this tragedy into triumph by sharing my story in hopes that even one person could feel inspired.”
Daisy passed away at age 36. She definitely inspired many, and leaves a legacy of personal power, positivity, and a passion for fashion! Our prayers are with her family, friends and fans.
