Moviegoers everywhere are buzzing about the new action comedy Central Intelligence, which hits theaters June 17th.
Hollywood heavyweights Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson lead the summer 2016 blockbuster, with the beautifully talented Danielle Nicolet starring as MAGGIE, a high-powered attorney and Kevin Hart’s wife.
Landing this movie is a major career move for Nicolet, as it marks the expansion of her impressive acting career from the world of television into the spectrum major motion pictures.
You may remember Danielle Nicolet when she was first introduced to households across America in the 90s on the hit comedy Family Matters. Over the past 25+ years, she has maintained respectably consistent success – having landed significant roles on popular shows such as 3rd Rock from the Sun, The Game, and a host of other shows and television movies.
Most recently, Danielle Nicolet led an impressively funny cast of women in the television comedy Born Again Virgin. The sitcom was TV One’s first scripted series and ran for two seasons (2015-16) on the cable network. Proving her ability to keep up with demands of high-paced Hollywood, the veteran actress was simultaneously filming Central Intelligence during the taping of her television show – catching flights between production schedules to execute both projects. It is apparent that this supremely talented comedic actress has strategically positioned herself to successfully continue to elevate her career.
In a recent interview with New You, Danielle commented on how it was working with Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson on the movie.
“They’re hilariously funny. Ultimately, what I discovered about both of them is you’ve never known two people that work harder and have earned the success that they have more than those two. Every day I got to work and was like…’I need to work as hard as hard as these guys.’ They get up everyday…they take care of their fans, they’re working their tails off. They’re the most prepared people. It’s a real gift to get to be around people like that.”
Daniel Loria, editorial director at BoxOffice Media, predicts Central Intelligence will open with $52 million against Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory.
Central Intelligence hits theaters June 17, 2016.
